I’m Amit, the Founder of The Links Guy. I am a pharmacist-turned-SEO & link building consultant. I originally worked as a pharmacist at the early part of my career from 2008 – working in the community as a locum pharmacist, before I did over 9 years, working in Lloyds (formerly McKesson), working in off-site dispensing where I worked in operations, ensuring medication was distributed to thousands of patients every month, day-in, day-out. I led large teams and collaborated with other departments and branches.
In the background, I had a personal interest in building websites, learning about digital marketing, and fell into SEO and link building. I started to delve deeper into it from about 2013 to 2015, before establishing myself as a link builder from 2016. Things grew slowly from there, until 2020, when I started doing link building full-time, and started to scale up the agency we now called “The Links Guy”.
“The Links Guy” is more than just 1 person however – and is made up of a multi-cultural, eclectic team of link builders who have worked with me over the years – all with their own unique skills and part to play as part of the team. The average person has been in the company for 3 to 4 years, and despite being a fully remote team, we pride ourselves on our communication, candour and our passion for always wanting to raise the bar on the level of service we give to our clients.
