We’re the WordPress experts. Our custom websites are always delivered with these three pillars intertwined: design; functionality; and security. We customize the design in WordPress with full functionality and ease of use, making sure you can edit the site and you have full control. Everyone begins with a free consultation to discuss project needs. For website design projects or ongoing maintenance (we call them Care Plans), most of our clients sign a Service Agreement that ends when they cancel or we cancel, and very few people cancel. We offer flexible payment plans for web design projects and the monthly Care Plans can be upgraded, downgraded or canceled at any time.

Our goal is to make sure that all of our clients have beautiful, professional, easy-to-use, full solution websites. Part of achieving that goal involves a simple and straightforward process.

Discovery
Our team and your team meet to discuss the project details, timeline, and process, and answer questions we have for one another. We may also want to learn about your current process and how we can help streamline your business.

Draft
We begin by researching your industry and reviewing your content and processes. We’ll create buyer personas and do any required user testing on your current setup.

Design
Based on the prototype, creative brief and target audience, the team will design a unique homepage from scratch. We’ll go through two rounds of revisions and finalize your look and feel to match your brand and messaging.

Develop
At this stage we begin coding the design into the prototype and building your custom WordPress theme. Any custom functionality will be finessed and finalized at this stage.
From the browser we’ll design the secondary pages and responsive views (mobile and tablet).

Describe
We will review your content and give feedback. Once we’ve all decided that the content is complete, we will add it to the custom website with design and supporting imagery.

Demonstrate
At this stage we begin coding the design into the browser. Once all the design and content are in place we’ll begin the testing phase. We’ll review the site in all the latest browsers and devices to make sure it works properly for everyone. We’ll also test any complex functionality and ensure that your website visitors can achieve their goals on your website.

Drive
Switch the domain to point to your new custom website, test key components again and consider the site launched! Celebrate!

Dance
Our relationship has only just begun. As you promote your new website and start getting new business, we’ll be by your side to support your website, marketing and graphic needs.

All clients begin on the Basic or Professional Care Plan for ongoing support. We’ll check in on you once a month to make sure everything is running smoothly and make suggestions for improvements.

I've been designing and coding websites since 1998. Yep, that's before the Internet was popular! I currently live in San Francisco, but I started out in Cleveland, OH. In college my major was illustration and one day I was working in the computer lab and my colleague was looking for jobs in our industry. I thought to myself, "I should probably do that too!" So I sent my resume to every place that offered graphic design positions in my area. I interviewed at a web consulting company, and the owner asked me why I wanted the job. I didn't even know what the job was! He hired me anyway, and on the first day, the Art Director handed me a thick book and said, "here, learn HTML." And so I did, and here we are. I'm hooked. What I like most about building websites is that I get to be creative visually and solve problems. Growing up, I was a huge fan of math and science, so the coding part of the job scratches that logic and trouble-shooting itch.
