Sam Wright – Founder & Managing Director
Sam founded Blink in 2017 after more than a decade in search engine optimisation. With experience dating back to 2007, he is a regular speaker and writer on eCommerce digital marketing and is heavily involved in all client projects. His focus is on building scalable, structured solutions that drive long-term growth for online retailers.
Dr. Ian Read – Head of Engineering
With over 25 years of software engineering experience and a Ph.D. in machine learning and natural language processing, Ian is the technical architect behind Blink’s proprietary tools. He has worked with organisations including McKinsey, McLaren, and the UK Parliament, bringing advanced engineering expertise to the world of eCommerce.
James Macnamara – Operations Director
A Cambridge graduate in English, James ensures Blink operates as an efficient, forward-thinking business. His role spans everything from internal strategy to making sure Blink remains an innovative, rewarding place to work while delivering exceptional results for clients.
Elodie Partridge – Head of eCommerce SEO
Elodie leads Blink’s SEO department, bringing extensive experience in international SEO and Shopify migrations. She is passionate about knowledge-sharing and has a deep understanding of how search works across different global markets. She is also a native French speaker.
Andy Russell – Senior Developer
Andy has been a web developer since 1995, specialising in eCommerce development. With deep experience in Shopify and custom builds, he ensures Blink’s technical implementations are both scalable and effective. His work bridges the gap between SEO strategy and practical development.
