Artillery was born in 2006, inspired by our founder’s service in the United States Marine Corps. Our name – “A Means of Persuading” – reflects both our military roots and our mission: to craft websites that move people to action.
But we’re more than just our name. We’re a team of digital craftspeople who believe in sweating the small stuff and lifting others up. You’ll find us rolling up our sleeves to tackle complex challenges, teaching clients along the way, and celebrating the successes of those we serve. Because we believe that your success fuels ours – a rising tide truly does float all boats.
Rooted in the Midwest (Lincoln, NE, to be exact), we bring those heartland values of honor, quality, and straight talk to every project we touch. Jake, Director & Co-Owner
As your first point of contact, Jake brings his passion for strategic problem-solving and clear communication to every project. With a marketing degree from UNL and a minor in music, he balances analytical thinking with creative flair. When he’s not crafting solutions for clients, you’ll find him playing pickup basketball or performing on guitar and fiddle.
Haley, Project Manager
For the past 8 years, Haley has been the steady hand guiding our clients through their website journeys. She excels at turning complex processes into seamless experiences, ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Her attention to detail and genuine care for clients make her an invaluable guide on your project.
John, Senior Designer & Founder
After touring as a musician and serving in the Marines, John founded Artillery in 2006. He’s built it into more than just a web design firm – it’s become a creative hub in the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska. As our senior designer, he brings both technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to every project. Ask him about drums or business strategy – he’s passionate about both.
Sierra, Designer
Sierra transforms ideas into captivating websites with an eye for detail and brand authenticity. Her designs strike the perfect balance between stunning visuals and intuitive functionality. After hours, she recharges with sunset walks and oat milk honey lattes.
Liam, Designer
Liam’s lifelong love of technology naturally evolved into a passion for web design. He brings fresh perspectives and technical insight to every project, crafting sites that are both beautiful and functional. Outside work, you’ll find him gaming or spending time with friends.
Clara, Support Specialist
Clara ensures your website continues to shine long after launch. Her blend of technical knowledge and clear communication makes website maintenance feel effortless. When she’s not empowering clients, she’s curled up with her dog Moose, a good book, and a cup of tea.
